Product, Factory and Shipment Checks

Area	Details	Notes
Product identity	Species, Latin name where required, processing form, size and grade.	Product name follows market usage and label.
Factory approval	Factory registration, food safety certificate and export approval where applicable.	Checked before order confirmation.
Freezing method	IQF, BQF, semi-IQF, block frozen or interleaved frozen.	Depends on product and packing.
Packing formats	Retail bag, foodservice bag, IWP, IVP, bulk carton, customer label and carton mark.	Carton marks and labels checked before production.
Traceability information	Origin, factory, lot number and production date where applicable.	Shown on shipment documents where available.
Certificates	HACCP, BRC, MSC, ASC, FDA or EU approval where applicable.	Checked against the actual factory and product.
Export documents	Commercial invoice, packing list, certificate of origin, health certificate and bill of lading.	Document set checked before shipment.
Cold chain	Frozen storage and reefer shipment at -18°C or below.	Temperature setting follows product specification.

Health Certificate	Food safety document for seafood import clearance.	Checked by product and market.
Bill of Lading	Shipping document for ocean freight.	Original, telex release or sea waybill as required.
Other Certificates	MSC, ASC, FDA, EU approval or other documents where applicable.	Provided only when applicable to the item and factory.
